Developing yourself as a "blogger" is a hard thing to do because there are so many different influences out there. Guaranteed, if you find a popular blog you will see what they do and maybe "copy" or tweak what they do in hopes of success yourself.
I know I'm guilty, but I'm slowly starting to develop myself as a new blogger.
I really don't care how many followers or comments I get, I just like getting to write and look back.
Like my blog I wrote when I was in Italy!
So with that said, I'm not one who thinks everything is lovely and magical and dandy and I don't search for inspiration from this, that and the other.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with doing/saying any of these things, it's just not my cup of tea.
This weekend, however, was lovely/magical/dandy/inspiring/all of the above.
Want to know why?
Yon-see.
A few friends of mine and I drove to Atlanta, Georgia to see this wonder of a musician.
The no sleep/lots of money spent/hot crowded venue was worth it x10.
My heart cannot express how amazing and creative and inspiring this musician is.
I am beyond inspired.
So go listen/look up youtube videos/go see him yourself,
and I hope you become inspired as well.
I'll be back with a post on the trip in its entirety.
For now, just be still and listen to some Jonsi.
I promise it's worth it.
