Summer Reading List

Well Summer's almost over and the list hasn't even been created.  If you're from Mississippi though, summer last until November. I've still got time.

When working with Invisible Children I was always recommended so many books, but never had the time to pick one up.  Here's my wish list of books I want to read before the end of 2012.

On the Road by Jack Kerouac

John Adams by David McCullough

Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller

Love Does by Bob Goff

Runaway Jury by John Grisham
(only because my PoliSci class requires it)

That should last me until the end of "summer", right?
I sure hope so.

Happy reading!

I've had no motivation to blog

But I've missed it so much.

I recently had to read a book for my Sociology class called Amazing Grace.
and I have to say, I dreaded it at first but as I kept reading it grew on me. I think everyone should read this book, it made me appreciate life so much more.
I hate when it takes a book to make me realize how beautiful my life is.

"Sadness is one plague today. Desperate would be a plague. Drugs are a plague also, but the one who gets it does not have to be the firstborn. It can be the second son. It could be the youngest."
"Anthony, what should we do to end this plague?"
"Mr. Jonathan," he answers, "only God can do that. I cannot be God."
