Winter Storm

After a nice weekend trip to Nashville, the winter storm decides to hit Birmingham right when we are anxious to get home. After a few miles of going 25 mph and seeing wreck after wreck on the icy roads we decided to pull over. Luckily it was on an exit with a very nice hotel, so we're shacking up here for the night. The hotel is literally by itself on this little exit so we have no means of getting food. I'm so thankful the staff here is generous, they've been handing out free drinks, apples, peanut butter crackers and prepackaged sausage biscuits. Pray for us as we try to make our journey back home!

P.S. I'm starving, and the continental breakfast can't come soon enough.
